Booth Benefits Feeding Our Future

Stop by the Farmers Market on Saturday, July 17, from 8:30 – noon and visit Roanna Huckstep’s booth. All of her proceeds are going to the Feeding Our Future Campaign. Roanna has a passion for helping children who are struggling with food security. Everyone loves her home-baked specialty cookies and some of the recipes are her very own.

Plant A Row for the Hungry

New Beverage Cooler

New Beverage CoolerWe have been blessed! We have received a grant from the Boone REMC Round-Up Program to purchase a beverage cooler. In a recent survey, our clients told us that they had trouble providing dairy products, fresh fruits, fresh vegetables and meat for their families. This cooler makes it possible for us to provide our clients with those items. In the future we hope to obtain the funds to purchase a walk-in freezer to provide us with the ability to store more meat and frozen items for our clients. This will especially come in handy during the holiday season and will allow us to store the turkeys, hams and chickens that are donated in a safe and efficient manner.

Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive Results
